Listible

February 8th, 2006

Listible combines the power of tags with the power of voting.

It’s pretty neat, I think if it reaches critical mass it could be quite useful, but until then it will have a mostly tech focus.

For example a search of ’soccer’ turns up one list with 3 entries, while ‘web2.0′ on the other hand turns up tons of lists with hundreds of entries.

Rollyo Custom Search Engine

January 31st, 2006

Rollyo is what I believe is the solution to my problem sifting through bookmarks and the index/search feature I described I wanted to have on delicious.

Basically you enter the urls you want and it creates a custom search engine.

The downside as I see it is what it appears to only allow you to enter 25 urls, which is far to few to have all of my bookmarks. Now if someone could come up with a service that combined the features of Rollyo and Delicious, I’m in.

What I Would Like To See On: Del.icio.us

January 27th, 2006

This is a re-post from a comment I made here

I like delicious but to be honest I’m to lazy to tag, what would be nice is if it make an index based only on what I’ve bookmarked so I could do a search and it would check through those sites only but search like a regular search engine.

Cus really who wants to tag? I think it would be cool to have the social bookmarking but then if all my bookmarks would become indexed and easily searchable, well that would be fantastic.

As things are now, I bookmark things like crazy, but rarely do I actually go back to find something, it’s to much work.
